China, World's Largest Exporter
China has now overtaken Germany as the world's largest exporter of goods to the world. Total exports average $1.2 trillion. According to the offficial Chinese Xinhua News Agency China exports rose for the first time in 13 months.
This all comes even though demand for consumer goods in foreign markets were weak, showing the resilience of Chinese manufacturers for low cost manufacturing.
